Mama Mia’s Restaurant and Tavern evokes those warm feelings you have when sitting down to Mom’s home cooking on a Sunday. Serving the Niagara Falls area for more than five decades, Mama Mia’s prides herself on her own hearty sauce, homemade pastas and Italian specialties. Since award-winning chef Rosa began making the sauce more than 50 years ago, consistently delicious food is commonplace at this eatery.

The portions at Mama Mia’s are so generously dolled out, you will swear it was your mom in the kitchen making sure no one is hungry. The menu is extensive, offering a multiple selection of soups and salads, sandwiches, homemade specialties, Italian specialties, pastas, meat, chicken and seafood entrées.

Mama Mia’s pasta is homemade and prepared to order. The cannelloni, manicotti, and lasagna are among other homemade specialties available at Mama Mia’s. Each dish is accompanied by a generous supply of freshly baked Italian bread --perfect for sopping up every last drop of sauce.

You can begin your meal with a cold calamari salad. Other appetizer selections include hot peppers stuffed with anchovies, antipasto, clams casino, escargot, soups and salads.

Enjoy spaghetti or penne served with “Mama’s” sauce or fresh garlic & extra virgin olive oil. These dishes can be dressed with meatballs, mushrooms, Italian sausage, veal cutlet or shrimp. The pasta specialties include Linguini with red or white clam sauce, Gnocchi Bolognese, Mama’s Lasagna, Spaghetti à la Carbonara and a Bit of Italy -- manicotti, cannelloni and homemade fettuccine to mention a few.

The Italian specialties include a side order of pasta, and meat and seafood entrées include a side order of potato and vegetable. You can choose bountiful portions of Venetian Chicken, New York Strip Steak and Shrimp, Chicken Cacciatore, Veal Parmigiana, Chicken Francesca -- a grilled chicken breast with extra virgin olive oil and fresh rosemary served with lemon, Stuffed Sole, and other enticing dishes.
